Travel
Arrangements All of our tours begin and end near train stations or airports which are serviced by major airlines. Our tour prices include airport shuttles at specified times on the first and last days of each tour. If you wish to take advantage of our free airport transfers, please plan your flights accordingly. If you book a flight that is scheduled to arrive later than our specified airport meeting time, or a departing flight that leaves earlier than our specified airport drop-off time, Easy Rider will not be able to provide airport shuttles for you. You will be responsible for your own transportation between the airport and our hotels. Please note that Easy Rider Tours cannot pick up or drop off guests at their individual hotels before or after a tour.Airfare is not included in our tour prices. Easy Rider Tours has made special arrangements with Azores Express for ticketing for our Azores tours. Please call us directly for rates and schedules. Reservations & Payments  We
strongly recommend that you reserve your space early, as tours are limited
in size and can fill quickly. A $400 per person deposit is required to
hold your space. If you reserve your tour within 70 days of departure, full payment is due with your reservation. We accept checks and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and
American Express). We will send you a tour confirmation package upon our
receipt of your deposit and completed, signed Reservation Form.Full payment for your tour is due 70 days prior to your departure date, and is payable by check or credit card. With your authorization, we can automatically bill your credit card when the balance is due. Please note that we cannot continue to hold your reservation if we do not receive your final payment on time. Nonpayment of your trip balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation: Your deposit will be forfeited, and your space will be offered to the next person on our waiting list. Any special discounts or promotions may be applied only to trips booked directly with Easy Rider Tours. Cancellation & Refund Policies All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Our refund policies are based on the length of time between the date your written cancellation is received and the starting date of your trip. Note: Payment in full is due 70 days before tour departure. If you do not pay your final balance on time, we will consider your reservation cancelled and your $400 per person deposit will be forfeited. For written cancellations received: 71 or more days before start date: You receive a refund, less a $100 per person administrative fee. 31-70 days before start date: If your final balance has been paid, you will receive a 50% refund. The $400 per person deposit is non-refundable. Fewer than 31 days before start date: There is no refund, but 20% of your payment may be applied to another tour departing within one year of the date your cancellation was received. You may transfer from one tour to another up to 70 days before trip departure; a $50 per person transfer fee will be charged. After this time, standard cancellation policies apply. There is no refund if you arrive late for a tour, or if you leave early; nor is there any refund for meals or services not used during the tour. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance, as we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy for any reason. An application for travel insurance will be included with your confirmation package. Easy Rider Tours reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone prior to or during a trip if this individual's behavior might substantially interfere with the general enjoyment and well-being of other tour members. Easy Rider Tours' liability in such a case will be limited to the actual cost of the unused services. Easy Rider Tours reserves the right to modify tour itineraries. In the unlikely event that any trip is canceled by Easy Rider Tours, all tour payments will be refunded in full and this will constitute full settlement. We are not responsible for any additional expenses such as non-refundable Advance Purchase airline tickets. Tour prices are based on foreign exchange rates as of November 1, 2007, and may be subject to adjustment if those rates change. Singles & Single Supplements Trip prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Those registering singly will be assigned a roommate of the same sex. A limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available for an additional charge on most tours. NOTE: Especially in Europe, single rooms are frequently smaller than double rooms, even though they cost more per person. Please call for availability and rates. A mandatory single supplement is charged for singles reserving a tour within 45 days of the departure date. If we are subsequently able to match you with a roommate, the single supplement will be refunded. 
Multiple-Tour and Alumni Discounts If you take two European tours in the same calendar year, you may apply a $400 discount to the second tour. Those taking one European and one North American, or two North American tours in the same calendar year are eligible for a $200 discount on the second trip. Easy Rider alumni are eligible for a 5% discount on all tours. Discounts cannot be combined, and apply only to trips booked directly with Easy Rider Tours. Cycling Gear All trip prices include the use of a top-quality bike for the duration of the tour. We emphasize safety and require helmets on all tours. Most cyclists prefer to bring their own. If you prefer, we will provide a helmet free of charge. A complete "What to Bring" list will be included in your tour confirmation package. Custom & Corporate Groups For groups of ten or more, we can arrange a tour to accommodate your specific dates, pace, and traveling style. Please call for more information.
