Our "Western Shores" bike tour winds through the friendly villages and pastoral countryside of County Clare, the Aran Islands, and Connemara, while "Coasting Kerry" explores the famed mountains and coasts of the Dingle, Beara, and Iveragh peninsulas. Our "Celtic Challenge" is specially designed for experienced bike riders, and combines the best of Counties Kerry and Cork. Further north, "Donegal Highlands" celebrates the rugged coastline and untamed beauty of Yeats country. Each of our bicycle tours is guided by two accomplished leaders, including a native Irish cyclist whose knowledge and insight into local history, customs, and culture will add an invaluable dimension to your Celtic experience.

Our cycling routes celebrate a land whose fascinating past is ever-present. Spectacular historic sites, from Megalithic tombs to 14th-century castles and abbeys, will kindle your imagination. Stone walls built a millennium ago criss-cross a landscape famous for its many shades of green. Fuchsia, rhododendron, and foxglove grow wild along the country lanes. Summer temperatures are cool and comfortable for cycling.

Each evening we'll enjoy legendary Irish hospitality in a cozy bed-and-breakfast, delightful guest house, or regal castle. Many of our innkeepers have been welcoming our cycling tours for a decade or more, and will truly make you feel at home. We've arranged for some exceptional dining in Ireland's finest restaurants. If you thought that Irish food was all meat and potatoes, you'll be delightfully surprised. You'll feast on wild salmon, tender rack of lamb, and Donegal prawns, creatively prepared and set off by fresh vegetables straight from the kitchen garden. And be forewarned-you may return with a fancy for afternoon tea and scones!

For us, the real allure of Ireland is in its everyday celebrations-the smells and chatter of Brigid's kitchen on the remote Aran Islands, dancing the two-handed reel at a local pub, or listening to a storyteller relate the legends of Conor O'Brien and Biddy Early. We think you'll agree!
