Reservations & Payments
We strongly recommend that you reserve your space early, as tours are limited in size and can fill quickly. A $500 per person deposit and a completed Reservation Form are required to hold your space. If you reserve your tour within 90 days of departure, full payment is due with your reservation. We accept checks and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). We will send you a tour confirmation package upon our receipt of your deposit and completed, signed Reservation Form.
Full payment for your tour is due 90 days prior to your departure date, and is payable by check or credit card. With your written authorization, we can automatically bill your credit card when the balance is due. Please note that we cannot continue to hold your reservation if we do not receive your final payment on time. Nonpayment of your trip balance by the due date will be considered a cancellation. Your deposit will be forfeited, and cancellation penalties will apply. Any tour discounts or promotions may be applied only to trips booked directly with Easy Rider Tours.
Easy Rider Tours reserves the right to modify tour itineraries. In the unlikely event that any trip is canceled by Easy Rider Tours, all tour payments will be refunded in full and this will constitute full settlement.
Easy Rider Tours is not responsible for any additional expenses such as non-refundable Advance Purchase airline tickets. Tour prices are based on foreign exchange rates as of October 1, 2016, and are subject to adjustment without prior notification if those rates change.
Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Our refund policies are based on the length of time between the date your written cancellation is received and the starting date of your trip.
Note: Payment in full is due 90 days before tour departure. If we do not receive your final balance on time, we will consider your reservation cancelled and your $500 per person deposit will be forfeited.
For written cancellations received:
- 91 or more days before start date: You receive a refund, less a $150 per person administrative fee.
- 31-90 days before start date: Assuming your tour is paid in full, you will receive a 50% refund.
- Fewer than 31 days before start date: There is no refund, but 20% of your payment may be applied to another tour departing within one year of the date your cancellation was received.
Please note that deposits for private tour groups are non-refundable.
You may transfer from one tour to another (departing in the same calendar year) up to 120 days before trip departure; a $50 per person transfer fee will be charged. After this time, standard cancellation policies apply. There is no refund if you arrive late for a tour, or if you leave early; nor is there any refund for meals or services not used during the tour.
Singles & Private Room Supplement
Trip prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Those registering singly will be assigned a roommate of the same sex. A limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available for an additional charge on most tours. Note: Especially in Europe, single rooms are frequently smaller than double rooms, even though they cost more per person. Please call for availability and rates.
A mandatory single supplement is charged for singles reserving a tour within 90 days of the departure date. If we are subsequently able to match you with a roommate, the single supplement will be refunded.
Easy Rider alumni are eligible for a 5% discount on all tours. Discounts apply only to trips booked directly with Easy Rider Tours, and cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers, with the exception of referral credits.
